User Researching.

In this research i wanted to help stakeholders achieve their goal of creating a website that will be go to property website for tenants in Lagos state. To achieve this I had to incorporate the UX research process that will help me get as much information to achieve the goal.

Getting the perfect framework for an effective research, follow through the steps I took to achieve this below:

1. Determine the Goal of the project: The goal of this project is for tenants to get verified information about rental apartments, tenants can be the first to know about vacant properties/apartments.

2. Explore /Understand the valid questions to ask during the research: With thorough research on some similar projects, I had to draw up valid questions that will help me get information from my target audience. I had the help of some research tools like survey monkey and so go survey.

3. Methodology: The method and approach I wanted to use in this research was as important as getting the information I wanted. Therefore I opted for the "quantitative" approach which included Interviews and surveys of my target audience.

4. Identify Practical Issues: It was important to note that I was solving a human related problem hence my approach was to be as realistic as possible with the issues users might be having when seeking to rent apartments. Hence the use of "user personas" came in handy when evaluating practical issues of users.

5. Decide how to deal with Issues Identified: A practical approach on how to solve issues raised by users and ensure that the approach to solving the issues are realistic and doable.

6. Evaluate Results: After the entire above process, evaluating the results involved reviewing proffered solutions found during research,  gather evidence for evaluating, analyze the evidence, make use of the information gathered and lastly share my findings with stakeholders.
